Training Goals

This page is a way of maintaining accountability and forcing me to publicly make some declarations and then stick to them.  Let's see how well I do with setting some goals for my fitness, weight, etc., and then achieving them.  Next nine months, I have the following goals:

Major Lifts
Back Squat 1RM - 425 lb.  Currently around 405 and have done this before, so very achievable. DONE. Twice, in fact.
Deadlift 1RM - 500 lb.  Not sure where I'm at, but I'd guess about 425.  Have been to 465.  Need to work on this one.
Shoulder Press - 200 lb.  That's a bold goal.  I'm probably at 175-180 lb right now.  And I've got one reconstructed shoulder.  But I want 2 bills for a shoulder press badly.

Clean and Jerk - 285 lb.  I've cleaned 285, and jerked 265, but this is an ambitious, yet achievable goal.  If my jerk didn't suck so badly. DONE (twice). Recently in a competition in a clean ladder, starting at 215 going up by 10 lb every minute.
Snatch - 225 lb.  So close, and yet so far.  I've snatched 215 lb a few times and consistently make 94-95kg (207-209lb) in meets (Vegas Open, E. Valley Ironfest). But the mythical triple digit snatch eludes me so far.

MetCons/Gymnastics
Fran - 3:00 flat.  I've done a 3:28.  It was awful.
Helen - 8:20.  I've done somewhere around 9 mins.  Running is the limitation.  Or lungs.
Angie - 18:00.  The 100 pullups to start are holding me back.
Pullups - 60 in one go.  And learn to butterfly kip.  Currently have done 42. (Have learned to butterfly).
Weighted Pullups - 135 lb.  I think I might have done this once, but I'm in the 110 lb range now.
Handstand Pushups - 20 in one set and 5 full-range on parallettes.  I think I can do 10 or 12 right now.
Ring HSPUs - 10.  I don't think I have one yet.
Handstand Hold - 60 seconds.  .
Handstand Walk - 30 feet.  .
L-Sit - One minute.
Pushups - 75 in one crack.
1 mile run - 6:20.  This may be the most challenging of all and most necessary.
5K -  <20 mins.  Same as above.  Will require significant speed work and running.  Blech.
800m run - 2:35.  I've run a 2:52 recently and thought I would vomit.
400m run - <60 sec.  Would like to return to the glory days of HS track.  If I get 65, I'll probably celebrate.  (This would make me competitive with my daughters, who run track.  Yippee.)

I have loads of other subsidiary goals, but I think these numbers - within the same 3 month period - would constitute a significant achievement.  Then I can just drop dead.
